Dr. Robert Talbot, Ph.D., LCSW, CEAP
Dr. Robert “Bob” Talbot is a nationally recognized expert in human behavior with more than 35 years of experience in clinical social work, organizational consulting, and behavioral health leadership. He holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Social Work from New York University and currently serves as NYU’s Employee Assistance Consultant, where he supports faculty, staff, and HR professionals in navigating personal, interpersonal, and workplace challenges to maximize wellbeing and performance.
As Founder and Chief Clinical Officer of ChangeU, Dr. Talbot leads the design and delivery of trauma-informed, evidence-based practices that drive sustainable human-centered transformation in organizations. He supports the ChangeU clinical team by providing strategic guidance, direct clinical supervision, and training in therapeutic and behavioral methodologies that ensure fidelity, ethics, and effectiveness in every engagement.
With more than 17 years of experience in workplace behavioral health—including 13 years on Wall Street working with Fortune 100 companies—Dr. Talbot brings deep insight into high-stakes, high-performance environments. He has delivered hundreds of trainings, talks, and workshops on topics such as stress management, mental health, resilience, anxiety, and grief.
He is a Certified Fellow in Clinical Hypnotherapy and a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), specializing in the resolution of trauma, complicated grief, and anxiety. His integrated approach to healing and performance forms the clinical foundation of ChangeU’s mission to unlock human potential and transform organizational culture through behavioral science.
